Butler County has a new chief assessor.
Amy Francis begins her duties Monday. She comes to Butler from Erie County, where she most recently worked as a GIS coordinator and assessor.
She will be paid a salary of $71,500 with health and retirement benefits.
Former Butler County Chief Assessor Christopher Savage retired earlier this month after 33 years with the county. He started his career at Sunnyview Nursing Home in the mid-80s and worked in the motor pool before transferring to the assessment office.
