Firefighters from Butler County are assisting those in Lawrence County with a fire near McConnell’s Mill State Park late Monday morning.
The fire reportedly started about 10 a.m. at a structure on Walnut Tree Lane, which sits off Mill Bridge and Trusel roads and near Old Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township.
Firefighters from at least two departments from the county were called in to help.
No word on any injuries or the cause of the fire.
