A Butler County farmer was hurt after his tractor rolled on top of him on Wednesday.
Ryan Hanchosky- chief of the Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Department- said a man was cutting the grass on his Worth Township farm, off Book road, about 1 p.m. when his antique Farmall tractor flipped.
“He was moving brown bales in his hayfield when the weight shifted on the tractor, causing it to roll onto him and pin his leg,” Hanchosky said.
The man was able to call for help and a family member heard him.
“When we got there, neighbor already had the tractor off of him and he was able to crawl out,” he said.
The man was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital.
