A local company will be featured on national television this weekend.
The owners of Kennihan Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning- Jerry and his father Bill- will be on Friday’s episode of “Treehouse Masters” on Animal Planet.
The episode features Kennihan installing an AC unit inside a two-story treehouse on property owned by Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown in Gibsonia.
“Wait until you see the scope of this project,” Jerry Kennihan said in Friday morning.
One wall of the treehouse is apparently glass from floor to ceiling. It also has a private bathroom.
“I think Antonio wanted to do this to have a place to hang with his kids,” he said.
Jerry says the experience helped kick off what will be an exciting year for the company.
“We’re celebrating our 50th year in business coming up next year. I thought this would be an exciting project,” he said.
The show is scheduled to air Friday at 8 p.m. on Animal Plant, channel 58.
