Butler City Council is expected to name their new Parking Manager Thursday night.
Council discussed the job description for the position during an agenda-setting meeting Tuesday night.
Much of the list of responsibilities, required skills, and necessary education was borrowed from the job description of the State College parking manager. The manager is expected to work between 14 and 28 hours per week and be directly supervised by the mayor.
After an extended debate, the council is expected to pay their manager a salary of $30,000.
