The City of Butler Police department is now accepting applications for entry-level, full-time officers.
A physical agility test and written examination will be held at 9 a.m. on Oct. 7 at the Allegheny County Police Academy.
Applicants for the police department must have completed Act 120 training as well as pass an oral examination, a background investigation, and a medical and psychological examination.
The deadline for submitting applications to the Butler City Clerk is 4 p.m. on Sept. 23. Contact the city building for additional information.
