Butler City Council is expected to vote on Thursday to officially adopt their budget for next year.
Property taxes are expected to remain at 43.25 mills in 2019 in order to fund a budget that is just over $9 million.
The parking revenue numbers in this budget do include a rate increase for permits; however, council would need to take separate action apart from passing the budget in order to raise those rates. The proposed rate increase adds $5 to the cost of monthly permits for parking in garage and lots.
No changes have been made from the preliminary budget that was discussed by council last month.
