Butler City Council will vote on a contract with the firefighters’ union later this week.
The two-year agreement with the International Association of Firefighters, Local 114, would run retroactively from Jan. 1 of this year through the end of 2019. The union represents the 16 full-time firefighters working for the city of Butler.
Details of the contract are expected to be revealed after council members take a vote at their regular meeting on Thursday.
