Butler City Council has agreed to purchase a vehicle for use by the Parks Department.
At Thursday’s meeting, Council approved a motion to accept a quote from Shults Ford-Lincoln for a 2022 Ford Truck F150 in the amount of just over $45,000.
This is close to the amount that was budgeted for this purchase and the truck will start to be used as soon as a spray-on bed liner is applied.
The city is also advertising the sale of the truck that this being replaced which is a 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 that recently failed inspection.
