If you would like to participate in local government, Butler City Council is continuing to accept letters of interests from residents interested in serving on an authority.
There is an open seat on the Parks, Recreation Grounds and Facilities Authority. The unpaid position would be for a five-year term and would fill current Councilman Corey Roche’s seat.
Anyone interested should submit an interest form to council. You can deliver your letter to the Butler City Building on West North Street.
The board hopes to appoint someone at their meeting next week.
