The Butler Area School District will have a new provider of graduation caps and gowns, beginning with students graduating in 2019.
Oak Hall Cap and Gown was the lowest of three companies submitting bids for a three-year contract. The district’s previous cap and gown provider did submit a bid but was not the lowest choice this time.
For a total of nearly $27,000 over the three years, Oak Hall will provide 314 gold caps and gowns, 314 white caps and gowns, 628 tassels, and approximately 100 honor cords.
Superintendent Dr. Brian White said students will be able to choose which color they would like to wear at graduation.
