The Butler boys’ basketball team fell to section 3 opponent Central Catholic by the score of 81-63. Butler falls to 14-6 overall and 6-5 in the section, while Central Catholic improves to 13-5 overall and 9-3 in the section. With the loss, Butler is forced into a must-win versus Seneca Valley on Friday (2/5) to make the playoffs.
Leading scorers for Butler were Conner Ollio and Tyler Frederick, each with 15 points in the game. Jonathan Devito led the way for Central Catholic, and led all scorers in the game with 22 points.
Butler is back in action on Friday in the must-win matchup against section 3 opponent Seneca Valley, pre-game beginning at 7:15 with Tyler Friel on WBUT 10t50 AM and the MSA Sports Network.
