The Butler Boys’ basketball team defeated Section 3 opponent Seneca Valley on Tuesday by the score of 56-38. With the win, Butler improves to 10-4 overall with a 3-3 section record, as Seneca Valley falls to 4-9 overall and a 0-6 section record.
Leading scorers for Butler consist of Joel Stutz with 20 points, 16 of which came in the second half and Conner Ollio who posted 14 points. Mark Smathers led the way for Seneca Valley, posting 8 points in the game.
Both Butler basketball teams are in action on Friday as part of a double header versus North Hills. Pre-game begins at 6:15pm with Tyler Friel on WBUT 105o AM and the MSA Sports Network. Tip-off for the girl’s game is 6:30, with the boy’s game following the conclusion of that game.
