The Butler Boys’ basketball team (17-8) will meet Pine-Richland (23-1) in the WPIAL 6-A championship game Saturday at 9 p.m. at the Peterson Events Center the the University of Pittsburgh campus in Oakland.

The broadcast will begin at 8:30 p.m. with a special coaches show featuring Coach Matt Clement.
The championship appearance is Butler’s first since 2000. The last time they won the title was 1991 when head coach Clement was one of the team’s members.
