The Butler Boys and Girls Bowling teams defeated Mars 7-0 to open their WPIBL season Wednesday
(Dec. 2) at Family Bowlaway.
Nick Huff led the Butler Boys with a 662 series and high game of 247. Hunter Lefever rolled a 617 series with a high game of 224. Jordan Reges added a 616 series with a high game of 236.
Leading Mars was Kyle Barnes with a 518 series and high game of 191.The Butler Girls were led by sophomore Ashley McCue with a 551 series and high game of 202. Sophomore Nicole Nebel had a 536 series and high game of 204. Sophomore Mercedes Belch had a 520 series and high game of 193.
Leading Mars was Allison Bruce with a 496 series. Hali Hartley added a 489 series.
(Butler Boys won 3007 to 2056 over the three-game series. Butler Girls won 2567-2226.)
Butler will host Seneca Valley next Wednesday (Dec 9). Mars will host Armstrong.
