The Butler Area School Board rejected another chance to sell the former Oakland Township Elementary School.
Although four of seven members present voted in favor of the sale at a special meeting Tuesday, since two members were not present, the board could not secure a majority vote.
A confirmed deal in writing of $363,600 for the property from Woodbine Oaks, LP is an average of the two appraised values that the district received for the vacant school.
A follow-up motion to market the school as the board is doing for the Broad Street property also failed.
