The Butler Area School Board is forming a committee for the purpose of an after action review of the consolidation process.
At a meeting Tuesday night, the school board voted 8-0 to request that Board President Nina Teff appoint the committee. The days and times of committee meetings are yet to be determined but will be open to the public.
The committee will design a process of evaluation using data gathered and provided by district administrators to assess how successful the consolidation process has been.
The committee will present a preliminary report on their findings at the end of January, at which time the board will decide on their next course of action with the school buildings that have been closed.
