Butler basketball standout Ethan Morton has announced he will be attending Purdue University following graduation next year. The Golden Tornado junior has been one of the most heavily recruited basketball players here in western Pennsylvania, and has drawn the interest of schools across the nation. Morton announced via twitter last night that he has made a verbal commitment to play for the Boilermakers.
Morton was the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Player of the Year last season. He averaged 27.5 points for Butler, and helped lead them to the WPIAL championship game.
