Events for county residents of all ages will be taking place at county-owned Alameda Park in Butler Township this week.
The events kick off on Tuesday evening with a free ‘Eugene and the Night Crawlers’ concert at 6:30pm at the Odd Fellow Gazebo. It is open to the public.
Wednesday is Butler School Pride Day at the Alameda Waterpark. Wear your Butler gear and show your student ID to get half off admission.
The park will feature two events on Thursday. In the morning, children are invited to Alameda Story Adventures, from 11:30 a.m. to noon for kids 6 and under at the Rotary Shelter. Also, a free Outdoor Discovery Series program with a rescue dog demonstration will take place at the Carousel Shelter at 6:30 p.m.
Lastly, the Moonlight Swim and Dive-In Movie ‘Annie’ will be shown from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday at the Alameda Waterpark.
Alameda Park is located off Route 68 (New Castle Road) in Butler Township.
