A burst pipe will stop deliveries through the Butler Meals on Wheels program until next week.
Officials say the pipe burst sometime over the weekend in the basement of St. Peter’s Anglican Church on East Jefferson Street in the City of Butler, which is the location of the program’s headquarters.
The program serves about 100 people in the Butler area.
The Butler County Area Agency on Aging says they ordered in emergency frozen, microwavable meals and anyone in need can receive one free of charge. They will be delivered by the agency staff to you. Contact the agency if you are in need at 724-282-3008.
