Buffalo Township is set to receive significant funding to help improve safety near a local waterway.
Governor Tom Wolf announced the municipality had been selected to receive $750,000 to help stabilize the stream bank and improve safety at the edge of the Butler-Freeport Community Trail. The funding will also remove the gravel bar in the Little Buffalo Creek.
The funding comes through the federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that passed earlier this year.
