A two-vehicle crash shut down an intersection in Buffalo Township last evening and sent a couple people to the hospital.
It was about 5:30 p.m. when a pickup truck and a van collided at the intersection of Sarver and Monroe roads.
One person was reportedly trapped in the truck and was eventually flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital. Another person was reportedly taken to a hospital by ambulance.
There were four people riding in the truck and one in the van at the time of the crash, but the rest were reportedly uninjured.
The accident stopped traffic at the intersection for some time.
