The Butler Transit Authority has begun additional commuter bus service to and from Pittsburgh.
‘The Bus’ is now servicing the Route 68 corridor with a stop at the Route 528 Park n Ride in Jackson Township, and then transportation to the North Shore of Pittsburgh where passengers can use the free ‘T’ to get to their final destination downtown.
Butler Transit Authority started operating two routes into downtown Pittsburgh by way of Route 8 to Route 28 in December of last year. Service on Route 8 will continue with some modifications.
