Construction is scheduled to begin Monday on Brownsdale Road in Forward Township.
PennDOT says the bridge will be replaced. The closure will last 10 weeks. A detour will be in place.
The bridge was built in the 50s and averages 1,600 vehicles per day.
The project is being done through PennDOT’s Rapid Bridge Replacement Project, which will replace 558 bridges in the state.
