Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown was sent to Pittsburgh for an injury evaluation yesterday in training camp. Coach Mike Tomlin said the injury wasn’t anything serious, but a day-to-day, minor injury. Multiple reports surfaced Thursday night, that Brown was dealing with a quad strain.
The Steelers have had a number of other players battling injuries so far in camp. Alejandro Villanueva (arm/shoulder), linebacker T.J. Watt (hamstring), safety Sean Davis (groin) and safety Morgan Burnett (hamstring). Tomlin said he considered these issues minor.
