Three Neighborhood Pride Awards were given out at Thursday’s Butler City Council meeting.
All three residences are located on Brown Avenue.
Jeffrey and Valerie Cooper were recognized for their home at 204 Brown Avenue. Kenneth Kastelic received a sign to display at his house at 200 Brown Avenue. And, James and Donna Smith were presented with an award for their home at 114 Brown Avenue.
A nomination application must be submitted to the four-person Neighborhood Pride Committee in order to be considered for an award. The purpose is to recognize a residence or business in the city who has displayed obvious and abundant pride in their property.
