Some students in the Butler Area School District have collected a large amount of money as part of a recent fundraiser.
Over the last two weeks, Broad Street Elementary students collected $500 in donations to benefit Joey’s Paw, a local nonprofit that helps provide mobility devices for disabled animals.
To celebrate the achievement, students had the opportunity toss a pie in the face of their principal and several other staff members.
