Brett Eldredge is the first celebrity judge to be revealed for this year’s Miss America Pageant.
He’ll join a panel of six other celebrities for the final day of the pageant.
Brett commented…“I get to judge Miss America. Are you kidding me?! Talk about a dream come true! I can’t wait to be a part of this.”
This year’s Miss America will be chosen from women representing 52 states and territories and will be broadcasted live on ABC from Atlantic City on Sept. 13.

- The first Miss America Pageant was in 1921.
- These seven celebrity judges will be from the entertainment, fashion and political industries and are the preliminary judges for the Miss America 2016 pageant. They will judge this year’s 52 contestants on lifestyle and fitness in swimsuit, evening wear, talent, interview, and on-stage questions.
- Brett is the reigning CMA New Artist of the Year.
