The Boil Water Advisory for Evans City Water & Sewer Authority customers has been extended until Friday.
Residents are advised to continue boiling tap water for at least one minute before drinking. The advisory will be lifted at noon Friday.
The authority says required water sampling has been taken and officials are awaiting results.
The Boil Water Alert was put in place on Tuesday following a water main break.
