Students at Knoch High and Middle schools are being dismissed early Wednesday due to a ‘security threat.’
The South Butler School District notified parents at 11:15 a.m. via email that students and staff have been evacuated from the building and will be dismissed.
District officials have not detailed the circumstances surrounding the threat or what time the students will be dismissed. A representative from the Superintendent’s office would not comment on the situation and said the superintendent was unavailable.
According to the district, South Butler elementary schools are not affected and will run on a normal schedule.
