The Butler County 911 Center and several other 911 centers in surrounding counties are experiencing an outage Tuesday morning.
This means any 911 calls from a mobile or home phone will not go through. You’re advised to call 724-284-5211 during an emergency.
Butler County Emergency Services Director Steve Bicehouse said the outage may have been caused by a software glitch.
It’s not known how long it will be down for.
