A house was significantly damaged as a result of a fire that happened in Brady Township Monday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 2 p.m. for fire visible from a two-story home in the 200 block of West Liberty Road.
When firefighters from Unionville, Slippery Rock, Prospect, West Sunbury, Harrisville, Portersville, and Butler Township got on scene, they found a fully involved shed with heavy smoke from a residence.
The fire was out about one hour after crews arrived but they remained on scene for an overhaul. It is not known if the home was occupied. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
