A Boyers man died Monday when his pickup truck crashed into a tree in Clay Township.
The one-vehicle crash happened about 4:30 p.m. on Route 8, just south of Euclid Road.
State Police say 70-year-old Joseph Godlewski was traveling north when, for some unknown reason, he sped up and lost control. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say Godlewski may have had a medical emergency which caused him to crash.
