History will be made at Kelly Automotive Park in the City of Butler this weekend.
Butler native and professional heavyweight and cruiserweight boxer Brian Minto says he will fight for one final time.
The first of seven amateur bouts will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday, followed by three professional bouts.
This event is sanctioned by the State Athletic Commission so they will be the ones to determine if an intermission needs to be taken due to inclement weather. A rain date is scheduled for Sunday.
Concessions will be open just as they are during a Butler BlueSox game and six Butler City Police officers will work the event.
Officials say only roughly 500 tickets have been sold so far, but Minto told the city Stadium Authority during a meeting Wednesday that he hopes to have 1,000 tickets sold.
