Clint Bowyer won a rain-delayed and rain-shortened Nascar Cup Series race at Michigan. Kevin Harvick won the second stage of the race, but Bowyer took just two tires in the following pit stop to take the lead. Shortly after, the rains returned and the race was deemed official. It was Bowyer’s second race win of the season. Harvick finished second followed by Kurt Busch. Ryan Blaney won the first stage of the race.
It was a banner day for Ford with seven cars in the top ten, the overall victory and stage wins by Harvick and Blaney. The manufacturer led all but 12 of the 133 laps.
Justify completed the Triple Crown of horse racing Saturday with a wire-to-wire win at the Belmont. He is the 13th horse in history to sweep the Belmont, Preakness and Kentucky Derby.
