Alex Bowman won his first Nascar Monster Energy Cup Series race Sunday, taking the checkered flag at Chicagoland. Bowman waited through a two-hour rain delay, and held off Kyle Larson for the victory. It capped the best day of the season for Hendrick Motorsports, with all four cars finishing in the top-11. Bowman had finished second three times this season, but never claimed victory.
The drivers head to Daytona this Saturday night.
