The water problems are over in Foxburg Borough.
The Boil Water Advisory that was in effect for residential and business customers for over three days has been lifted after a second sample tested negative for contaminates Friday afternoon.
As a result of successfully completing the required testing procedures, the Department of Environmental Protection has lifted the Boil Water Advisory. Repairs to the water line system are ongoing but valves put in place will allow for that work to be done without affecting customers.
Monday night, a water leak was discovered on River Road resulting in the precautions taken against contamination through the Boil Water Advisory.
