Missing Backroad Anthem lead singer Craig Strickland was found dead yesterday (Monday, January 4th) after several days of searching. The singer and his friend, Chase Morland, both died while attempting to duck hunt during severe weather in Oklahoma.
Morland’s body was recovered from a lake less than 24 hours after the pair were reported missing on December 27th. Strickland was found on land, and his cause of death was reported as hypothermia.
Strickland was a friend of Justin Moore‘s, among others, who turned to social media when they heard the news of Strickland’s recovery.
Yesterday, Justin tweeted, “Rest easy @BackroadCRAIG…you will be missed. Can’t imagine the music you’re makin now. God got a good one in you.”
