Pavin Parks and Tyler Murphy started the action early as Parks slugged his second home run of the season to score Tanner Murphy, who had singled to lead off the game. Butler put up another two runs in the second after a handful of walks and singles load the bases and help propel them to victory.
Jack Herzing picked up his first win this year, striking out five of nine batters faced. He gave up no hits, no runs, and walked no one.
The BlueSox return home tonight to face Kokomo. The Jackrabbits trail the Sox by a half-game in the division.
