The Butler BlueSox – Richmond River Rats game last night was rained out when another round of strong thunderstorms crossed the area. They will play a doubleheader with Richmond tonight. The first game will begin at 5:05pm, with the second game to follow immediately after. Both games will be seven inning contests.
The West Virginia Miners defeated the Jamestown Jammers 15-1 last night in Jamestown to win the Prospect League Eastern Division first half, and clinch a post-season playoff spot. The second half of the season begins tonight.
