The Butler BlueSox split a doubleheader with the Richmond RiverRats last night. The Sox won the first game 5-2 but lost the nightcap 9-2. David Marcus had three hits in the doubleheader, including a league-leading fourth home run in the second game. Marcus has an eight-game hitting streak. Butler will visit Chillicothe tonight and Friday then return home to host Jamestown Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will include Fireworks for the City of Butler’s Independence Day celebration.
