The Butler BlueSox fell to the visiting Chillicothe Paints on Saturday night by a final of 6-2.
The Paints jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead in the top of the first, with the BlueSox scoring their pair of runs in the home half of the fifth inning. With the loss, the BlueSox snap their five game winning streak. However, the Sox are still atop of the Prospect League’s East Division with a 10-6 record, which is 1.5 games ahead of the second place Kokomo Jackrabbits.
The Sox will conclude their two game homestand Sunday afternoon, as they will host the Paints again at 1:35pm.
