In Prospect League play, the Butler BlueSox snapped their five game losing skid on Saturday, beating the Chillicothe Paints on the road by a final of 3-0.
Pavin Parks started on the mound for the Sox, and pitched into the eighth inning. He allowed only four hits and three walks, and now holds a perfect 5-0 record and a 2.12 ERA.
The BlueSox are now two and a half games out of first place, with three games to go in the first half of the season. The Sox will return home tonight, and will face the Paints again. First pitch is set for 6:35pm.
