The Butler BlueSox defeated the Chillicothe Paints 9-3 last night in the Prospect League. The Sox scored seven of their runs in the top of the first inning and ended the night with 13 hits. Ty White became the first BlueSox hitter of the season to have a four-hit game, including a triple.
Butler is in Chillicothe tonight before returning home to host Jamestown Saturday and Sunday. The City of Butler Fireworks display for the 4th of July will follow Saturday’s game.
