The Butler BlueSox lost on the road to the West Virginia Miners Saturday night by a final of 7-5.
In front of a crowd of 1,300 fans, the BlueSox were able to rack up 11 hits against the Miners. However, the BlueSox failed to capitalize on several opportunities. With the loss, Butler sits in second place in the Eastern Division with a 5-3 second half record.
The Sox will be back in action this afternoon against West Virginia. That first pitch will be at 2:05pm. The BlueSox will be back in town on Wednesday when they begin a three game homestand.
