The Butler BlueSox fell to West Virginia 5-1 last night. Butler starting pitcher Tyler Slepski lost for the first time this season, allowing two runs on six hits over two innings. He did not walk a batter and struck out two. The Sox only managed four hits in the game, with David Marcus having three of those, including a double. The Sox left 10 men on base. West Virginia will host the BlueSox again tonight. Saturday is a Honda North Fireworks night as the BlueSox return home to host first-place Jamestown.
