The Butler BlueSox fell to the visiting Lafayette Aviators in Game Two of the Prospect League Championship on Saturday night by a final of 11-8.
Knoch grad Alex Stobert was the starting pitcher for the Sox, and Patrick Ferguson hit a long home run in the losing effort. Pavin Parks also had a RBI single and RBI triple for the Sox.
The Sox and Aviators are now tied at one game a piece, and will match up for Game Three of the Prospect League Championship on Sunday. The winner of Sunday’s game clinches the 2017 Prospect League Championship. First pitch is scheduled for 4:05pm in Butler.
