The Butler BlueSox made a statement in breaking a two-game losing streak with a 20-5 victory last night in Terra Haute. The Sox pounded 21 hits and every starting player scored at least one run.
The BlueSox will visit Champion City tonight before returning home for a season-ending doubleheader tomorrow. Fireworks will cap the season after game two.
The PONY League World Series begins today in Washington, Pa. The first teams to play will be Peters Township and a team from Mexico at 5:30pm.
