The Butler BlueSox beat the visiting Kokomo Jackrabbits in Prospect League play on Saturday night by a final of 5-1.
Sox starting pitcher Pavin Parks was solid on the mound, as he picked up the win. He pitched six innings, and allowed the lone Jackrabbit run.
With the win, the BlueSox improve to 12-9 on the year, which is good enough for first place in the Eastern Division of the Prospect League.
The Sox will travel to West Virginia tonight for a game against the Miners, before having Monday off. First pitch for tonight’s game is 5:05pm.
