Nascar driver Ryan Blaney will be moving from the Wood Brothers #21 team to Team Penske for 2018. Blaney will drive a third entry in the Nascar Monster Energy Series with the #12 on the car, in a move that Blaney said has actually been planned for several years. The 23-year old, son of Dale Blaney, is in his third season with the Wood Brothers team, and scored his first career victory earlier this season at Pocono, where the series is headed this weekend.
Paul Menard will leave Richard Childress Racing to take over the driving duties for the #21 car. His father’s company, Menards, will sponsor a majority of the 2018 season.
